BeachAbility Ingoldmells is a non-profit, volunteer-led service dedicated to making the beach accessible to everyone. Established by the Ingoldmells and Chapel Fans Facebook group, the organization offers six specially designed beach wheelchairs and a beach walker, all available for free use (a booking and cash security deposit are required). These wheelchairs are equipped with ballooned wheels to navigate sandy terrains, ensuring that individuals with mobility challenges can enjoy the beach alongside their families. The equipment is stored in a blue shipping container on the seafront promenade at Ingoldmells. To book, send a text message to Leanne at 07971 964706.
