1. Agreement

By downloading or using the Visit The Seaside app (“the app”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is provided by Visit the Seaside and is intended for users in the United Kingdom.

2. Listings & vouchers

Events, businesses and vouchers are aggregated from visittheseaside.com and from partners. We do our best to keep information accurate but we do not guarantee prices, opening hours, dates, locations or availability at any given moment. Always confirm directly with the business before travelling.

3. Voucher redemption

• Each voucher can be redeemed once per device and is not transferable, refundable or exchangeable for cash.
• Valid only at the named participating business until the expiry date shown.
• Must be presented in-app at the time of payment via the QR code shown in your Wallet. Screenshots are not accepted.
• Cannot be combined with other offers unless the business explicitly allows it.
• The participating business has final discretion on accepting any voucher.
• We are not the merchant. Any contract for goods or services is between you and the participating business.

4. Account & business accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Business accounts must use the till scanner only to redeem genuine customer vouchers. Misuse will result in immediate suspension.

5. Acceptable use

You must not reverse-engineer the app, redeem the same voucher on multiple devices, harass any business or individual, bypass rate limits, or scrape data with automated tools.

6. Intellectual property

All text, images, vouchers, logos and code in the app are the property of Visit the Seaside or its licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

7. Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we exclude all warranties and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or from inaccurate listing data, voucher rejection, missed events, weather, transport disruption or business closure. Nothing here limits our liability for death, personal injury or fraud where that would be unlawful under UK law.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update the app or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Termination

You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend access if you breach these Terms.

11. Governing law

Governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
