Visit The Seaside

The Visit The Seaside app (“the app”) is published by Visit the Seaside (“we”, “us”, “our”). The app is a guide to events, vouchers and local businesses across the Lincolnshire coast and is available on iOS and Android. The publisher of record is Visit the Seaside, contact info@visittheseaside.com.
We collect the minimum data needed for the app to work.
We do not collect contacts, photo library, microphone audio, browsing history, advertising IDs, precise location history or payment cards. We run no third-party ad SDKs and we never sell data.
To operate the app, prevent abuse, respond to your support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
The camera is requested only when staff scan a customer voucher QR. Frames are processed on-device and immediately discarded. No photos or video are taken or transmitted.
Sent via Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). You can disable them at any time from your device settings or from the app’s Profile screen.
None of these third parties receive any data that identifies you personally.
We keep your account and push token for as long as you use the app. Delete your account and we erase your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal reasons.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, erase, export, restrict or object to processing of your data. Email info@visittheseaside.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
The app is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and the Effective date above will be updated.
